Dr. Muench was born and raised on Long Island his entire life. Dr. Muench is a graduate of Lindenhurst High School. After hurting his back playing football and getting great results with Chiropractic for his back and other health issues, he knew this is what he wanted to to do. He attended SUNY Farmingdale and Hofstra University, going on to graduate with his doctorate from New York College of Chiropractic. Dr. Muench started private practice in 1991 where he has been serving the community for over 34 years. Dr. Muench continues to attended seminars to educate himself so he may learn information that can benefit his patients. Dr. Muench has completed over 200 hours of X-ray analysis with Dr. Russell Earhardt DACBR a top chiropractic radiologist. He also completed 3 additional years of post-graduate studies, the ICA's Diplomate of Applied Chiropractic Sciences.  He was the 3rd member of the New York Chiropractic Council, where he has received service awards. Dr. Muench is a past member of The International Chiropractic Association and The International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, where he studied with the prestigious Dr. Larry Webster. Dr. Muench is also a Founding Member of the ICA Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics. Dr. Phil, as most of his patient's call him, loves to help his patients get well and help them to stay well. He has a great bedside manner and likes to make each visit both beneficial and enjoyable. Dr. Phil prides himself on providing the best professional care possible and has helped patient's with many different health issues, including infants through the elderly.

Dr. Phil's wife Patricia was also born and raised on Long Island her whole life. She is also a graduate of Lindenhurst High School and tought art for many years in a private school on Long Island. Patricia has been working with Dr. Muench since 1993 and loves making all the patients feel comfortable even when they may not be feeling that comfortable. She enjoys working with the patients as they are getting well and helping them stay well. She takes care of all the general operations of the office, making appointments, files insurance claims, bookkeeping, telephones, etc. Patricia has a great sense of humor and always has a smile on her face. Patients really appreciate her fun out-going personality and know she genuinely cares about them. She is truly an asset to the practice.
